Juice or Blend?
To juice properly your kitchen needs to host both a juicer and a blender. The two are often confused or considered to be one and the same. They have separate lives but when used as a team produce some of the tastiest liquids ever tasted!
A blender is sometimes referred to as a smoothie maker and that gives you a clue as to its role. A juicer is for juice and a blender is for smoothies. There are some fruits for example that you simply cannot put through your juicer but go perfectly into a blender. For example, even though a banana or an avocado maybe around 70% water, your juicer is going to get very messy and produce no juice because it's near impossible to separate the juice from the fruits flesh. So for soft fruits stick them in the blender.
Some fruits will go well in either the juicer or the blender. Pineapple juices well but in smaller amounts can go into the blender.
